District Home Page

Greetings from your B-BH Local Professional Development Team(LPDC)!

The MyPDC software will allow you to easily submit your IPDP and professional development activities to be reviewed and approved by the LPDC committee. It also will provide excellent tracking of all your activities through an LPDC transcript. During each step of the process, e-mail reminders and updates will be sent to your school account. All of this process is completed electronically saving you time!

If you have reached this point, you know that we have a "MyPDC" link on the home page of each school. After entering the program by using your user name and password (look to your right), you can then submit activities or your IPDP.

Under the icon "My Pages" on the tool bar at the top of the screen, you will see Plans and Activities on the drop down menu. After selecting Plans, a button entitled "Start a New Plan" is available. Click on this button and begin your IPDP within the form presented. After you have completed your IPDP, you will click "Save" and set the status within the form to Submit. The plan is electronically forwarded to the LPDC committee for review.

If you are submitting an activity, after selecting Activities, a button entitled "Propose an Activity" becomes available. Click on this button and begin your activity in the form presented. Again, after completion of the activity, you will click "Save" to send the activity for review. It IS that simple!

Some IMPORTANT terms to understand and remember when completing the activities form: Hours = Contact Hours, this is the actual number of hours spent in the activity*; CEU = 10 contact hours; Semester Hour = 30 contact hours or 3 CEUs. The form will ask for each of these units (Hours, CEUs and Sem. Hrs.) in this order. Carefully designate which unit, and how many, your activity is to be awarded. The other units must be coded "0" since all areas of the form must be filled in.

We trust that your on-line LPDC journey will be POSITIVE. Please be reminded that the LPDC Guidelines are on the district website if you have additional questions or need clarification in any area. Additionally, any member of the LPDC is available for discussion as needed. The current members are:

Susan Welch, Assistant Principal, High School
